Carolina Seldes, CEO and founder, created ITnova in 2011 because she saw a need for innovative software technology within the US Government. She moved onto building a talented, diverse, strong team with widespread backgrounds in working on IT projects as well as working within the US Government: federal, state, and local branches.
Carolina has extensive experience advising, designing, and implementing IT solutions in the government and private sectors.
As a Program Manager, she has proven ability to successfully analyze an organization's critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative and cost-effective IT solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenues, and improving customer service offerings.
Carolina received her Master’s in Finance at Columbia University, New York. Carolina has a Bachelor as an Electrical Engineer from the Javeriana University of Colombia.
In addition, she is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), ITIL, CompTIA Sec+, and Cloud Computing.
Ms. Palm has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a master’s degree in International Business from University of Maryland and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification. Ms. Palm has led hundreds of Performance Improvement Kaizen Events and projects yielding millions in cost reductions, 520% in price/share growth value, corporate wide savings over $1.4 billion spanning several years, 24% bill/cycle reduction, reduced in-process product/service defect level by a factor of 200, increased employee productivity on a dollar basis by 126% and reduced new product and service introduction time by 15%. Ms. Palm developed a unique CPI training curriculum to support the collaborative application of TOC, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Awareness, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, Champion, Sponsor) and Executive Leadership. Leading RIE Teams and Project Belts to bottom-line, validated and sustained results which positively impacted the strategic mission and goals of the organization. She led and mentored the selection, facilitation and execution of strategically aligned Value Stream Analysis (VSA) workshops and Rapid Improvement Events. The selection, facilitation and execution of strategically aligned projects; and mentoring individual Green Belts, Black Belts and continuous process improvement (CPI) teams through successive phases of the DMAIC project cycle to project closure.
As ITnova’s IT Innovation Manager, Ryanne focuses on Research and Development of technologies including: web development, accessibility, cloud, data analytics, Agile development, and cutting edge technologies. As an Innovation Manager, she identifies technologies that support the mission of our government and community. She has a Master’s in Interaction Design and Information Architecture from the University of Baltimore and Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Linguistics from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
As ITnova’s Operations and Project Management Officer, Jim supports our projects by implementing best practices, managing stakeholder expectations, and keeping ITnova’s projects on track. Jim's expertise in Agile and ITIL plus over 10 years of experience in project management is key to making sure ITnova services deliver value and results that matter to our customers. Jim has a bachelor’s in arts from Princeton University. In addition, he is certified Scrum Master and ITIL v3.
Carolina provides recruitment support and operations at ITnova. She supports the development of tools to increase efficiency and performance of ITnova services, as well as supporting the design, development and implementation special projects, based on ITnova's needs. This includes supporting proposal writing, technical recruiting, and specific projects. Carolina has a Bachelor in Business Administration, and loves tennis and sports.
