Meet Our Leaders
Sandra Carolina Seldes
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Carolina founded ITnova in 2011 utilizing her expertise in technology and electrical engineering. She has over 20 years of experience working with the US government, including agencies in the transportation, aviation, education, aerospace, and defense sectors. Carolina has a BS degree in Electronic Engineering from Xaverian Pontifical University and a Master of Science in Finance with emphasis in Project Assessment from Columbia University. Carolina is also certified as PMP, Scrum Master, CompTIA Cloud Essentials, ITIL v3, and CompTIA Sec+. Carolina loves spending time with her family and loves to mountain bike whenever she has free time.
Allison Mason
CHIEF STRATEGIC AND QUALITY OFFICER
Allison joined ITnova in 2015 and rejoined in 2020. Allison brings with her experience in strategy, process improvement, and quality control. Allison provides strategic directives for business growth and implements guidelines for efficient and effective procedures, while leading customer service initiatives. She is also responsible for overseeing ITnova’s client satisfaction, ensuring ITnova delivers best in class service. Allison has a BBA in International Management from Loyola College in Maryland and an MBA, emphasis in Strategy, from Babson College. Allison is also PMP certified. When Allison is not spending time with her family, you can find her outdoors running, hiking, or playing sports.
Carolina Villegas
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Carolina is a member of the Business Development department developing new businesses and creating relationships. She identifies and qualifies potential opportunities with the Local, State, and Federal government. Carolina works with Allie and CEO, Carolina Seldes in the client management process, ensuring that ITnova has clear understanding of the current and potential clients, their pain points, and the ways in which ITnova can partner and collaborate to build long-term successful solutions. She is also responsible for overseeing ITnova’s marketing strategy. Carolina enjoys her multiple tasks, including the support to responses ITnova prepares for the RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, IDIQs, and more. Outside the office, Carolina plays tennis and exercises a lot. She is also in love with her puppies, Freyja, a Samoyed, and Thor, a Rough Collie. When time allows, she cooks for her family.
Alex Rincon
PROGRAM MANAGER OFFICER
Alex joined ITnova in 2022. As ITnova's PMO Director, Alex leads project management standards and practices for the organization. Alex takes a strategic approach for creating practical solutions for ITnova's ongoing and future projects. This approach allows the ITnova team to meet client requirements and exceed client expectations. Alex bridges the communication channels between the technical team and management team. Alex has a BS degree in Security Management from University of Phoenix. Alex is PMP certified. On a personal level, Alex enjoys hiking and indoor climbing with his wife and three kids. During his free time, Alex is usually driving his kids to their soccer games, then cheering at games from the sideline, being their number one fan!
Mariana Moreno
HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST
Mariana is ITnova’s recruiter. She works together with the team in search of the best talent for different projects. Mariana is a psychologist discovering the organizational world and how psychology can contribute to it. Some of her hobbies are painting with watercolors, reading novels, and spending time with her family and friends.
Joanna Benjamin
HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST
Joanna is an HR Specialist and Office Administrator with expertise in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive employee engagement and foster organizational success. With a background in psychology, she leverages her understanding of human behavior to create positive, productive work environments. Joanna is passionate about supporting both individual and team growth within the workplace. Outside of work, Joanna loves spending time with her family, exploring new activities on a whim, and staying fit through regular gym sessions.
